We tell our peers stories in order to survive from the chaos and random yet cruel world that we see on local broadcast. Our experiences turn into narratives that connect our lives. And you figure that life is not like a movie but rather like a music video. A string of images tied together at random.
Emotions and expressions go hand in hand be it in a picture or whilst being with a person and being able to read the energies they extrude. And how beautiful it is to share that same expression with a stranger on a different platform.
And there was no better way to tell this beautiful yet innocent narrative that Lryaoko had in mind for a quite a while now. I fell in love with the concept as it was a step out of my kawaida comfort zone and maaaaaaaan! Wasn’t the end result a glorious piece!! Many thanks to Cake City for giving us an opportunity to use their premises and please head on over there for some yummy cakes and ice cream. Last but not least, thanks Gayle Were for offering your assistance and creativity to the shoot.
