Hello World!

Being the end of the month, I’d like to do a special piece today. A blog challenge that i did with two lovely people, Nerima and Ivystephanie.Hope you’ll like it.

“It pains me to see the hypocrisy going around in Africa as a whole, not just because lately more attacks have been taking place but also, we contribute to unconstructive social media hatred! Why?”

 

Why should you throw away your brotherhood, as we already lost our dignity during the colonial time. Before reacting to an uncontrollable situation, think of how you can send a positive message.

With that,Ivystephanie, Nerima and I took up the #Fashionforpeace challenge in memory of the lost souls during the Garrisa attack and the Xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

I did both a girly girl look with a lace dress with white shoes from Bata and a pair of Adidas Originals socks. I’ll do a separate post to pay an hommage to Closet49 🙂

For the grunge look, that’s a bit tomboy-ish. I paired up a lace top that i did a DIY on * work with what you have yeah?* Then, i got my high waist rugged boyfriend jeans , more like mom jeans lol! For kidogo color, i threw on a lumberjack.

 

Also I’d beg of you to spare a few minutes to read an article, that a friend turned sister, Akinyi wrote XENOPHOBIA. Hope this will change your mindset, thanks for checking in and i hope you’ll be more than inspired.
